Amy became a resident of Wheaton 11 years ago after marrying her husband, Mark. Having been blessed with 3 kids through marriage, Amy shares another two children with Mark and is honored to be among those representing non-traditional families and their children who attend CUSD200 schools and call this community home. Aside from spending time with her family and working in small business accounting, Amy is a servant-leader in the community giving of her time and talents whenever able. Amy also enjoys baking, cut-flower gardening, boating, fly fishing, golfing, traveling, and event-hosting.
After graduating from Batavia High School, Amy earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communicative Disorders with an emphasis in Speech & Language Pathology from Northern IIllinois University.
Amy has a diverse professional background with client service, management, consulting and small business finance experience across a number of industries. Whether working in retail, manufacturing, healthcare or hospitality Amy is known for her attention to detail, expense control, administrative skills, inventory management, communication skills, collaborative problem-solving, and relationship building.
